Hate has no place in Westtown

For more than 300 years, Westtown Township has been a shining example of racial, ethnic, and religious tolerance. Reported instances of overt prejudice or racism are exceedingly rare. Unfortunately, the Westtown-East Goshen Police Department (WEGO) is now investigating one or possibly two incidents of graffiti-oriented vandalism in the historic barn at Westtown School.

FarmerJawn, who leases the farm and the barn, is rightfully upset by these hateful incidents that have caused fear among her staff. All residents of Westtown should be equally incensed that someone would try to intimidate a young farmer and her staff with swastikas, racial slurs, and other ugly images. Hate has no place in Westtown. We all must condemn such acts. The supervisors and staff of Westtown Township will not stand for such behavior and support the efforts of WEGO and Westtown School to find the guilty parties.
