Registration is required for this event: www.crcwatersheds.com
Calling all nature enthusiasts and bee lovers! Join us for an exciting and educational event hosted by the Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association, Westtown Township EAC, and Planet Bee Foundation. Get ready for an up-close encounter with native bees, where you’ll learn valuable insights on how to support these important pollinators throughout the year.
In addition, we’ll make a tangible difference in our local ecosystems by creating SEEDBALLS filled with native wildflower seeds. These seedballs are a vital part of rewilding our habitats and supporting the health of our watershed. By providing essential food for bees and other pollinators, we’ll contribute to a thriving ecosystem and promote biodiversity.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to be part of the global movement to protect bees and our environment. Join us for a family-friendly event that will inspire and educate, and together, let’s make a positive impact on our local ecosystem!
West Chester Area Clean Energy Future
The Townships of East Bradford, East Goshen, West Goshen, Westtown, West Whiteland, and the West Chester Borough, in conjunction with the West Chester Area Council of Governments (WCACOG), collectively hired the Cadmus Group to complete a study on the feasibility, costs, and opportunities of transitioning to 100% renewable energy, and to create a long-term, actionable roadmap for realizing the community’s goals. On August, 3, 2020, Westtown Township adopted Resolution 2020- 09 formally accepting the WCACOG Clean Energy Study, authorizing the Township’s involvement in a project to implement strategies set forth in the study, and authorizing the Township’s involvement in the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Additional information on the West Chester Area Clean Energy Future project is available here: www.wcacleanenergy.org.
