Due to the evolving situation surrounding the coronavirus, the West Chester Area School District has cancelled the rental/use of all internal building spaces from March 15 through April 4, 2020. This measure is being taken to ensure the viability of the aggressive disinfecting program they have instituted in their facilities. As a result, Westtown’s reservation of the auditorium has been revoked for the 3/25 public hearing. As such, the applicant and the Township have agreed to cancel this meeting.
The next scheduled public hearing for the Toll Bros/Crebilly II CU application is scheduled for April 21, at 6pm at Rustin HS. On or about the end of March, WCASD plans to announce whether or not they will extend the cancellation of building space rentals or not. In the event that Rustin HS is not available, the Township may decide to hold the hearing within the assembly hall of the township building, or at another location, if a suitable location can be found. Any public notice to that effect will be communicated online, in print, and by email well in advance of that meeting. Thank you for your understanding. This is obviously a rapidly evolving situation that is impacting communities large and small around the world. We will continue to update the public as the situation warrants.
