We’re in for another blast of winter, with total accumulation currently projected to be in excess of 12″, and strong winds causing visibility issues, drifting, and the potential for power outages.
We ask that you take appropriate precautions, including staying off the roadways until the storm is over and the roads are clear. In order for our plows to safely and efficiently clear the snow, please do not park on the street, or deposit snow from your driveway into the roadway. You may also want to temporarily relocate decorative mailboxes to avoid damage from snow discharging off the plows. For detailed snow event information and the township’s mailbox policy, please visit the Roads & Public Works page of the Township website: https://westtownpa.org/roads-public-works/
Trash and recycling collection on Monday has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 3. The Thursday route will be serviced as normal, with no expected delays. Please do not place your receptacles in the roadway.
Stay safe and warm!
