NOTICE – WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Westtown Township will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 22, 2021 commencing at 6:30 P.M. at the Stokes Assembly Hall at the Westtown Township Municipal Building, 1039 Wilmington Pike, this Township. At the conclusion of the said public hearing, the Board will hold a public meeting at the same place to consider said application and possibly act upon the same and conduct such other business as may properly come before it.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive evidence in reference to the application of Spencer Qualls, legal and equitable owner and Dr. Amy Parkman, VMD, (lessee who brings the application as lessee with the consent of the said Owner) of a portion of a multi-office building (known as Unit 21) located on a tract of land known as 1646 West Chester Pike, this Township. The premises is identified on the maps of the Assessor of Chester County as Tax Parcel 67-3-132. The premises is located in an area designated on the Zoning Map of Westtown Township as an R-3 Residential-Office Zoning District. The said tract contains 12.3 acres of land more or less and the leased premises contains 3,250 square feet more or less, of leasable floor area.
There is presently extant upon the premises of which the leased premises is a part a commercial office complex. The Applicant proposes to use the leased premises as a small animal veterinary clinic, a use not provided for in the Township in any zoning district. No structural alteration of the leased premises is proposed. The use is not a permitted use in the R-3 Zoning District. Therefore the applicants seek such relief by way of variance or such other relief as may be available to permit the use and occupancy of use proposed.
The application, together with plans and explanatory material is on file at the Westtown Township Municipal Building, 1039 Wilmington Pike, this Township, where the same may be reviewed without cost during normal business hours and where copies thereof may be obtained at cost of reproduction.
All persons interested may be present and give testimony if they so desire.
