The Zoning Hearing Board of Westtown Township will convene to hear two applications:
Application of Brendon and Amelia Healy: The Premises, the subject of the application is a single family detached dwelling located at 604 Franklin Drive, this Township and designated on the maps of the Assessor of Chester County as Tax Parcel 67-2M-26. The Applicants propose to convert the existing garage into an accessory dwelling unit which construction will encroach into the mandated front yard setback and to construct a new garage. The applicant therefore seeks relief by way of a special exception to permit the accessory dwelling unit and dimensional variance relief to permit the proposed construction to encroach into the front yard setback and in addition or in the alternative, such other relief as may be required to permit the project proposed.

Application of Michael and Christie McGuire: The Premises, the subject of the application is a single family detached dwelling located at 114 Piper Lane, this Township, designated on the maps of the Assessor of Chester County as Tax Parcel 67-4-9.13. The Applicants propose to construct a deck at the rear of their dwelling, which structure as requested would result in an encroachment into the mandated rear yard setback. To permit the construction of the deck of the dimensions and location proposed would require variance relief or such other relief as Applicants may require.
